LAX Airport Expansion

Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) was expanded in preparation for the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics.

The projects included the International Terminal, Terminal One, multi-story parking structures, the Central Utility Plan, and a complete second level roadway infrastructure (the airport had previously been all on one ground level).

Work consisted of coordination of numerous general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, architects, engineers, consultants and airlines. Work included feasibility studies, constructability reviews, CPM scheduling, acceleration analysis, claims analysis, negotiation of numerous change orders and claims, litigation support for the City of Los Angeles, and frequent formal and informal reporting to the Department of Airports regarding progress and status of work as well as problem resolution.

All projects were completed before the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics.

Other landmark projects:

The LA Central Library
San Diego Convention Center
